HyperTransport (HT) is a state-of-art packet-based, high-bandwidth, scalable, low latency point-to-point interconnect technology in the form of HT Link (packet and PHY), HT connectors and HT cables, that link processors to each other, processors to coprocessors and processors to I/O and peripheral controllers.
HT’s market-proven solidity and highly efficient protocol make it the ideal choice as chip-to-chip, board-to-board and chassis-to-chassis high-performance interconnect, successfully deployed in the widest range of consumer, commercial and mission-critical applications, including personal computers, workstations, servers, supercomputers, networking equipment, embedded designs and gaming systems.
HT Technology and Trademarks Licensing
HT is an open standard, royalty-free technology managed and promoted to the industry at large by the HyperTransport Consortium. HT technology license - simply obtained through HyperTransport Consortium membership - can be either mandatory or elective, depending on the way HT technology is implementated and/or marketed (click button below for details).
